Worcester Arts Magnum School – October 2010   School volunteers assisted the Pioneer volunteers in painting a Pioneer Playground MAP and Solar System on the School playground area.  The pioneer volunteers were Bruce Broadard, Diane Rodger, Jim Crosbie and Bill Daniels

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    

National Trail Day – September 25, 2010 Jim Crosbie (center pic on left) volunteered at Buffumville Dam in Charlton as part of the National Trails Day 2010. He assisted in the rebuilding of a foot bridge on one the trails surrounding the dam. The team leader was Joe Lawrence in the red shirt along with his son Jim and two rangers; Jean Hixson and Viola Smith. We worked on the bridge from 8 am to about 2:45 pm. It was a long hard day of digging for the sauna tubes as well as moving rocks, screwing in 4 ft. anchors and building the new wood for the top of the bridge.
